PSD2 fully 'privacy proof'

Today the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) confirmed that the revised European law on payment services, PSD2, is fully 'privacy proof'.

The EDPB's letter is an answer to questions on privacy aspects of PSD2, posed by Sophie in 't Veld. Many people were concerned that the revised law would be a threat to their privacy. While negotiating the law, In 't Veld has always paid very close attention to privacy protection.
