Response to Commissioner Jourová about the EU litigation fund

On 14 January, Sophie in ‘t Veld received a letter from Commissioner Jourová about the steps the Commission has taken towards the implementation of an EU litigation fund. Although In ’t Veld appreciates the Commission is taking these steps, the Commission Financing Decision omits the original intent of this preparatory action: the financial support for litigation activities. In her response, In ‘t Veld stresses how crucial it is that in the upcoming Call for Proposals there will be a focus on this support.
